Invitation to Progress Summit II

Last November, 150 people walked into a New York comedy club for an event on closing progress gaps, admittedly a very broad topic... but the event was fantastic, and our speakers led such meaningful dialogue. People stayed so late we had to play 'Closing Time' multiple times.
This year we asked a more defined question about economic mobility:
What does it actually take to move someone from insecurity to opportunity, through work, wealth, and ownership?
To answer it, we’re bringing together the people who see the problem from every side. Some train the workforce. Some fund it. Some build the tools. Some study what works, and some have spent their careers in the neighbourhoods where these gaps are widest.
I’m thrilled to share some of the voices joining us at Progress Summit II:
🔹 Jim Malatras, Fedcap
🔹 Eugene Lewis, Robin Hood
🔹 Adanna Chukwuma, CARE
🔹 Antonio Rodriguez, CFA, CIPM, 32BJ Funds
🔹 Ike Okereke, Main Street Fund
🔹 Andrew Chang, Portmanteau Capital
🔹 Laura Hollod, Hollod Impact
🔹 Dr. Cecilia Dones, Columbia / 3 Standard Deviations
🔹 David Henderson, Giving Credit
🔹 Mariyam Shamshidova, WeFranch
🔹 Jeff Mendelsohn, LocalCode
🔹 Mary Hayes, Engage Learning Systems

Hosted by David Tswamuno and Fairbridge, co-hosted by Mobi Events.
A few more names are coming soon.
This isn’t a conference. It’s one afternoon with 60 curated participants focused on five pillars (Workforce, Capital, Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Ownership), built so you leave with relationships, not just notes.
📍 Civic Hall at Union Square, NYC
🗓 Wednesday, November 11 | 2:00–7:00 PM
If you’re building, funding, or championing pathways to prosperity, I’d love to see you in the room. Request your spot in the first comment.
